IT Acceleration's confidential procedures capture the contents of computer hardware including desktops, laptops, removable storage devices, servers, mobile phones, and PDAs. Before image analysis, a protocol is defined and documented-from which evidence and data will be produced to the other side.
Protocol Integrity
Where evidence is erroneously preserved, cases are resulting in motions for sanctions pertaining to evidence spoliation. Defining a proper court-approved protocol is critical to meet the strategic goals of legal counsel, contain costs and ensure consistency when evidence production commences. IT Acceleration provides the necessary foundation for any electronic discovery/computer forensics engagement. Without these procedures, the opposition can challenge how preservation was conducted.
Evidence Preservation
IT Acceleration and the lead counsel will agree on the best approach to perform the imaging project. This can be performed at the client's office or in ITA's computer forensics lab. We image the hard drive(s), as well as inventory and photograph equipment and the user's work environment. Our tools and expertise enable the recovery of deleted data and the contents of a "crashed drive." In addition, we can image network backups, email, and off-site storage that can yield years of evidence.
Uninterrupted Operations
IT Acceleration ensures proper preservation of computer images and chain of custody as required by federal and state court systems. We strive to minimize the client's burden and our presence during an onsite imaging engagement. Our equipment investments enable the fastest forensic imaging in the market.
