IT Acceleration was incorporated in 2002.  The company is managed by three partners Michael Garcia, Fred Munizza and David Yarnall.  The three partners have a long history working together in the IT industry before creating IT Acceleration.

The company initially started out providing Fortune 2000 level IT services to small and mid-sized businesses (SMB).

"Throughout the years, we knew that IT outages crippled a small business or branch office more-so than a larger entity capable of staffing their own support department.  Our approach to treat our clients as separate departments of a large company changed all that.  Small business now have access to a depth of resources such as a 24/7 help desk where issues are resolved quickly and IT architects who will ensure the right solution is adopted."

Within a few months, the client base quickly grew and forensic services were introduced after a client requested help to address a litigious hostile workplace allegation.
